Patna: Indira Gandhi Medical Institute (IGIM) will reinvest tension in one of the 32 samples checked for the sequencing genomes in the first lot to ensure the Covid variant.
Of the 32 samples of positive people collected from various places of Bihar, Omicron Covid variants were found in 27 and Delta in four in the sequencing of the genome in Igim on Sunday.
The variant of one sample remains unknown.
“Because the variant of one sample cannot be confirmed, we now plan to investigate Escape not detected by genome sequencing techniques, unknown tensions have left many confusing questions such as being a combination of deltas and omicron or other forms of mutant, he said.
Meanwhile, the IGIMs have also started a medical investigation to find out how the doctors and staff of the hospital paramedics are testing a large number of coronavirus.
“While Director of Igims Dr.
N R Biswas and about 35 doctors and other paramedics were tested positive twice in the previous two waves, two of which had returned positive,” said Dr.
Mandal.
Amazingly, all health workers infected with Corona have taken a covid vaccine dose.
Dr.
Mandal said the principal of Dr.
Ranjit Guha and paramedic staff had been tested positively in the three waves.
The IGIMS Administration has requested the Department of Preventive and Social Medicine to follow up on all these cases after collecting their details such as age, gender, severity, inpatient days and other medical history from the supervisor’s office.
He said the findings of this study would help in the protection of health workers and others after the emergence of a new variant of the virus.
