Hanoi / Shanghai: US Vice President Kamala Harris on Wednesday again demanded China by intimidating Southeast Asian neighbors, the second time in two days he had attacked Beijing during regional visits aimed at fighting China’s influence.

During the delay, Vietnam Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and the Chinese Ambassador to Vietnam held a meeting that was previously not announced, where Chinh said Vietnam did not side with foreign policy.
The Chinese Ambassador promised a contribution of 2 million Covid-19 vaccines during the meeting.
China is Vietnam’s largest trading partner and Vietnam very dependent on materials and equipment from China for its manufacturing activities.
The ruling communist party maintains close relations, but Vietnam and China have been involved in an old dispute over maritime claims in the South China Sea, known as the East Sea in Vietnam.
Tensions have encouraged Vietnam to be one of the most vocal opponents of Beijing’s claim in disputed waterways and Hanoi has received US military hardware, including the coast guard cutter.
The tie between Hanoi and Washington has grown closer more than four decades after the Vietnam War ended in 1975, although Washington said there was a limit on relationships until Hanoi made progress on human rights.
Analysts said Vietnam wanted to improve his diplomatic relations with the United States against “strategic partnerships” but concerning such steps would be angry with Beijing.
