WASHINGTON: President Joe Biden said on Friday that the United States had secured millions of experimental experimental antivirus pill doses of Pfizer Inc.
for Covid-19 if it turned out to be an effective treatment.
“If authorized by the FDA, we might immediately take pills that treat viruses on those infected,” Biden said.
“We have secured millions of doses.
Therapy will be another tool in our tool box to protect people from the worst results of Covid.”
