The US Supreme Court on Friday took challenges by two families with children who attended Christian schools to the Maine lecture aid program that made taxpayer money from being used to pay religious education institutions in cases that could further narrow the separation of the Church and the country.
The judge agreed to hear the appeal by lower court families benefiting the state that concluded that the Maine program did not violate the first amendment of the US constitution that was right to run free religion.
