The US will not be ‘sitting silent’ if Iran drags nuclear talks: messenger

Washington: The United States will not “sit silently” in Iran if he dragged his feet to return to the nuclear Accord in the conversation continuing next week, US special envoy said.
“If they start too close, too close to comfort, then of course we will not be ready to sit still,” said US negotiator Rob Malley to the national public radio released Tuesday.
Iran will return to speak in Vienna with the world’s power on Monday after a five-month gap after an ultra-conservative presidential election, Ebrahim Relision.
Negotiations came after the head of the International Atomic Energy Agency, returned from a visit to Iran, said there was no progress in talks about disputes over the country’s program.
President Joe Biden’s administration opened talks earlier this year in hopes of returning the United States to the 2015 nuclear accord which was thrown by the predecessor of Donald Trump, but failed to reach an understanding with Iran.
“We are ready to return to the agreement and to lift all sanctions that are not consistent with the agreement.
So if Iran wants to return to the deal, it has a way to do that,” Malley said.
“If you don’t want to go back to the agreement, if you continue to do what it seems to do now, that is to drag his feet at the nuclear diplomatic table and speed up his steps when it comes to his nuclear program, if it’s the road he chosen, we must respond thus.” Negotiations were detained Indirectly, with the UE envoy between Malley and Iran’s delegation, which refused to fulfill US representatives of face to face.
Iran has demanded the appointment of all sanctions, but the Biden government said it only discussed the steps imposed by Trump as part of the withdrawal of the nuclear agreement, including the US ban that swept in all other countries who bought Iranian oil exports.
Israel, who fiercely opposed the 2015 agreement negotiated by President Barack Obama, had conducted a sabotage campaign against Iran and threatened military action.
US Secretary Antony Blinken has talked about “another option,” although Malley in the interview made it clear the United States thought especially from economic pressure.
