The US will see the role of Pakistan in the last 20 years: Blinken told MPs

WASHINGTON: The US will see the role of Pakistan played in the past 20 years, State Secretary Tony Blinken told MPs who were angry that stated anger at the “Duplik” section of Pakistan in Afghanistan Post 9/11 and demanded that Washington rejected his relationship with Islamabad.
The US Parliament members also urged the Biden government to re-assess the status of Pakistan as non-NATO’s main allies.
Blinken faces parliamenters who are angry on Monday which question the administrative response to the collapse of the Afghan government and the actions of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to evacuate Americans and others.
Congressman Joaquin Castro, Democrats from Texas, asked Blinken who gave Pakistani’s old support for the Taliban and hid group leaders for years, whether it was time for the US to re-assess his relationship with Pakistan and reassess the status of Islamabad as a large non-nato allied .
“For the reason you quote as well as the others, this is one of the things we will see on the next day and weeks ahead, the role of Pakistan has played for the past 20 years and the role we want to see in the coming years, “Blinken responds to Castro, chairman of the subcommittee on international development, international organizations and the social impact of the global company.
Responding to the question if he knew former Afghan President Ashraf Ghani planned to leave, the State Secretary said he had spoken with Ghani on August 14 nights who had stated “fighting to death” and did not realize Ghani’s plan to leave Afghanistan.
Ghani left Afghanistan who was hit by a war on August 15 when the Taliban entered the capital Kabul and said they were looking for full strength.
The Taliban seized power in Afghanistan on August 15, two weeks before the US would complete withdrawal of troops.
Observing that relations with Pakistan bothered him, members of the Bill Keating Congress, a subcommittee of foreign councils in Europe, Eurasia, Energy, and the environment and the Armed Service Committee, said Islamabad had played by all negative role accounts in decades.
They created, named, and helped the Taliban reunite in 2010 in Pakistan and the contents have a strong bond with the Haqqani network responsible for the death of US troops, said Keating.
Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan celebrated Taliban Kabul’s takeover, described him as “violating the shackles of slavery,” he added.
“Congress has been told that the relationship with Pakistan is complicated, I say it’s a duplicate,” Keating said, adding that the United States needs to rejust his relationship with Pakistan.
Over the past few months, the Indian Embassy here led by Ambassador Tarajit Singh Sandhu has made an intensive outreach to members of the leading US congresses and senators.
Congressman Scott Perry said Pakistan supported the Haqqani and Taliban network with US taxpayer money, confirmed the US should not pay Pakistan and revoke the non-NATO ally status.
With open support given by the contents of the Taliban and Haqqani network, this is the time to consider stronger relationships with India, said Congressman of the Republic of Mark Green, ranks members of the Western Hemisphere, Civil Security, Migration and International Economic Policy.
