Nagpur: High-powered Committee (HPC) set towards Nagpur Bench of Bombay Court has asked the agent to submit a final plan in 15 days for conservation, protection and development of famous Lonar crater in the Buldhana district.

The Forestry Department has also searched for RS3.65 Crore to eliminate prosisions near the lake area.
It also looks for RS15 Crore to acquire 342 hectares of private land near the crater.
It also requires RS10 Crore for electric vehicles, display boards, display platforms, running tracks etc.
Resources said the committee also asked the archeological and architectural school department, Bhopal, to present an integrated site management plan (ISMP), which will include urban conservation, tourism guidelines, legacy preparation of regulations etc.
