Shivamogga: District administration on Tuesday closed more than four dozen vaccination centers that were established on different talents due to lack of vaccine doses.
Administration movement to close the centers has attracted flakes from people living in semi-urban and cities in the district.
On average 8,000 vaccine doses are given at 125 centers every day.
Nearly half of them are closed on Tuesday, while the number of doses decreases in other centers, affects the public.
People, who arrived at the downtowns of Sagar and Thirthahalli, blamed the authorities for a sudden step.
When contacted, Dho Dr.
Rajesh Suragihalli said that they held a mass vaccination drive on Monday.
“We have to remove stock to get a new consignment, which will arrive in a few days.
The Ministry of Health has 25,000 doses until Sunday, and we we use the same thing for encouragement that follows the direction of higher authority to clean up supplies,” he said, added The remaining dosage is used in the main vaccination center in the city on Tuesday.
