Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot has confirmed that Assassin’s Creed Infinity will not be a free online game like the previous version.
It was confirmed during the last conference call developer that discussed the company’s financial results, Lapor Engadget.
The existence of this project was first reported in July and the developer gradually shared his details since then.
Ubisoft said that Assassin’s Creed Infinity, which is the project name (has not been confirmed), will be a direct online game like the Grand Theft Auto Online which will require you to have a basic game to play it online.
The report added that Guillemot also said, “This game will have many narrative elements in it.
It will be a very innovative game, but will have what players have in all other Creed Assassin games, all the elements they love …
From the start.
So it will be a big game.
But with many elements that already exist in the game we published in the past.
“Previously all Creed Assassin games had one narrative story.
But, infinity is expected to have several settings where each character will have a completely different environment.
This means infinity may have several games in one package, although how it will be connected to fans has not been revealed.
The report also added that it would be an online platform with space to expand in the future, so that new content might come to the game as a campaign or season.
Ubisoft brings integrated resources from the Montreal and Quebec team who have worked on different Creed Assassin games to develop this version.
Guillemot said it was still in the early stages and the first release would not occur before 2024.
