The victim of the accident died in the hospital

Thiruvananthapuram: A 62-year-old man who was treated after retaining a serious injury in an accident on Jalan five days ago, died on Friday.
Yesudasan Fernandez from Alan Cottage near Radio Park at Old Road near Puthhenthope was the deceased.
According to the Kadinamkulam police, the accident occurred on Sunday night around 8pm.
Fernandez drove his scooter from Puthenthor towards Perumathura when he accidentally crashed into a tree stump next to the road in front of the euro sea ice plant near Puthenthope.
Alleged that Fernandez lost control of his scooter somehow and hit a tree stump.
The police have launched the probe to find out the true causes of the accident.
He had undergone hospital treatment in the city since then, but on Friday he gave up on his injury.
He is a fisherman who works at the Port of Perumhura.
He left Mary Sherlin’s wife and two son Benston and Anoop.
