Ludhiana: The works that are widely awaited from the command and integrated control centers (ICCUc) for CCTV camera networks installed along urban roads have begun in the city zone under the mission of City City.
They are developing an office and installing a screen screen for this war room to monitor what is happening in the city.
Of the 1,401 security cameras installed under the City Safe project, 450 dysfunctional.
Officials claim that this camera will be replaced before the device grid is linked to ICCCC.
The plan includes GPS-fitting MC vehicles, buses, LED street lights, trash cans, and even Tehbazari to check traffic, sanitation, and encroachment through ICCC.
Asking anonymity, one of the MC officials claimed that in Gwalior, ICCCC has helped the nationality authority monitor local settings to deal with Pandemic Covid-19.
He said GPS marking would help MC track his vehicle and garbage truck on the central screen.
He said: “The ICCUc project is very important for civil regulation and many smart cities have adopted it.
Even mobile applications that want to develop a general portal for all types of residents services can be monitored from ICCCC.” Bridge and Department of Road Superintending Engineers Rahul Gagneja said: “The work has begun, and first we will build a room and then supply the screen in it.
But first, all the cameras will be linked to ICCCC and monitored from there.
We will be connected service others later.
“About the possibility of being brought, Sarabha Nagar Resident Sarabjit Singh said:” Building the same platform to monitor all citizen services is a good idea but security cameras in the city are installed at angles that sometimes violate action.
This must also be repaired.
“For a long time, the authority of the citizenship tried to rent a contractor for this project.
It took four attempts to start this project.
The central team to visit tomorrow Team from UNION Housing and the Urban Development Ministry will visit the city on Friday to review ICCCC and other projects under the City City mission.
The citizenship administration is on the toes before the arrival of Housing Secretary Durga Shankar Mishra and other officials.
On Wednesday, Commissioner of the City of Pardeep Sabharwal had an hour’s meeting with officials from various branches.
Commissioners attract officials to the gaps in the garbage lifting and pathetic road conditions, and telling them to go to the field sometimes not sitting in the office.
Officials direct sanitation staff to maintain city streets and clean this garbage regularly.
They also asked the bridge and the road department to repair the hole.
Sources at MC said the central ministry inspection tour to Punjab will continue for three days and, regardless of Ludhiana, the team will also visit Patiala, Jalandhar, and Amritsar.
There is a possibility that MC officials will bring the team to the Nagar Sarabha market, Sidhwan’s seafront canal, Jalan Malhar under construction, and waste treatment plants for inspections.
