Salt Lake City: The water level at Great Salt Lake has hit a historic low, a gloomy milestone for the largest natural lake to the west of the Mississippi River which comes as Megadwought the region grips.
On Saturday, the US geological survey announced that the average daily water surface had dropped by about an inch below the previous record of 4,191.4 feet (1,278 meters), which was set in 1963.
