NEW DELHI: With the next Covid wave over the left wing, the Chhattisgarh government has begun ramping up medical infrastructure to get ready for a potential third wave of this outbreak.
Chief Union Bhupesh Baghel has led district collectors to prepare an action plan for updating the hospitals and wellness centers within another 15 days.
He explained that no stone will be left unturned at strengthening the healthcare infrastructure and also in making health care and healthcare facilities readily accessible to the frequent man.
“In the past six months, centers like ICU, oxygen associated gear, beds, and ventilators etc in such hospitals are improved and updated to provide much better Covid therapy to the sufferers.
It’s necessary to ensure appropriate care and application of these medical gear to get ready for the third wave,” he explained.
The state government has started updating infrastructure of district and also block-level hospitals to guarantee preparedness if a third party wave strikes.
The Congress-run authorities said that federal hospitals ought to be compared with performance theatre, labour room, lab, ICU, ventilators, blood banking and absolutely free medicines.
CM Bhagel added these hospitals ought to be updated to provide 24×7 therapy centers.
The authorities also advised that post-graduate physicians of pediatrics, gynecology, anesthesia, pathology, medication and operation could be appointed in those hospitals.
It said that in areas where article graduates aren’t available, arrangements must be forced to appoint the physicians trained in such areas.
