The weather office predicts heavy rainfall today, the yellow warning problem

Ranchi: The state is likely to receive heavy rainfall in the next three days, starting from Tuesday, in some parts and the IMD has issued a yellow warning because there is a storm opportunity in those days.
“The northwest and southwest of the state tends to receive heavy rainfall on Tuesday while the south east part will receive heavy rainfall on Wednesday.
On Thursday, the northern, middle and southeast Jharkhand will receive heavy rainfall.
We have issued a yellow warning for the third day because there is a possibility of a storm, “said IMD on Monday.
Although suddenly the arrival of the monsoon, the distribution of rainfall was very uneven in Jharkhand and on Monday, the state received 380.6 mm rainfall with a seasonal average of 399.4mm, indicating a negative departure of around 5%.
IMD said that monsoon activity over Jharkhand was close to normal.
“Some parts of the country received light to moderate shower for the past 24 hours.
Hendegir in Hazaribag recorded the highest rainfall of 113.4mm,” said the weather office.
Ranchi, Jamshedpur and Daltonbanj have recorded rainfall of 5.8, 8.8 and 2.2mm, while Bokaro recorded 64mm.
Of the 24 districts, 13 are in a normal rainfall category where rainfall deviations are in the range of -19 to + 19%.
Four districts have received excessive rainfall while seven are in the category of rainfall deficits.
So far, Gumla and Chatra have received 33% and 35% lower than the average rainfall while the neighboring district Lohardaga recorded 63% of excessive rainfall.
Dhanbad, Lohardaga, coderma and Jamtara have received excessive rainfall while Chatra, Godda, Gumla, Khunti, Seri Goodsla-Kharsawan, Simdega and West Singhbhum looked at the deficit rainfall, which could cause situations such as drought in several places.
However, the distribution of rainfall at the beginning of the month was even enough.
On July 1, the state has received 34% of excessive rainfall – Jamtara, Palamu and Dhanbad to three districts with the highest quantum rain.
But even then three districts – Gumla, West Singhbhum and Seramala Kharsawan – are in the rainfall deficit category.
At the end of the first week of July, the average rainfall of the country fell but was still over 18%.
On July 14, eight districts were in the negative category while the average country continued to reach 4% of excessive rainfall.
