Thiruvananthapuram: Weekly testing levels (TPR) within the corporate limits remain below 10% over the past two weeks.
On July 3, the Weekly TPR in the Ward Company was 9.1%.
There were 2,114 positive cases from 23,328 samples.
The occupancy of the ICU and Covid hospitals also dropped dramatically in the district.
ICU occupancy fell 39% in a month, and for the same period, the residential hospital Covid fell 62%.
There is also a stable increase in ventilator vacancies and ICUS.
The everyday case reported in this district still ranges above 1,000.
On Sunday, the district reported 1,009 new Covid-19 cases and 896 recovery.
There are 9,751 people who are in care for Covid 19 in the district.
Of the 1,009 new cases, 933 has been infected through local transmission, where three people are health workers.
As many as 2,315 people have been brought based on supervision of diseases in the district on Sunday.
A total of 1,620 people have completed the observation period without showing symptoms on Sunday.
34,137 people underwent observations in the district.
TPR has reached 7.5% on July 10.
The local body with TPR 5% or below also increases in this district.
