WASHINGTON: Surge in the case of a new Coronavirus associated with the Delta variant encourages health experts to discuss mitigation strategies such as the latest guide about using a mask, a spokesman for White Building Jen PSAKI told Monday.
PSAKI began briefing daily news with the progress reports of the virus, said there was a significant increase in the Covid-19 case among Americans who were not vaccinated but people who had been vaccinated to avoid the main disease.
He said there were no signs but that the Delta variant responsible for many new infections was to have an impact on the US economy.
The latest guide from disease control centers says vaccinated people do not need to use masks in many settings, but in the past few weeks there have been more discussions about whether the mask must be brought back.
