The White Tiger Division of the Indian army arranged ‘run to India’ to celebrate 75 years of independence

Finished / Alvi Jhansi: White Tiger Division of the Indian Army organized a 7.5 km mini-marathon here on Sunday to commemorate the 75-year state independence as part of a celebration throughout the year under Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.
Marathon was marked by General General Vipul Shinghal, General Officer Commander, Tiger White Division in the Cantonment area.
Jhansi District Judge Andra Vamsi, army personnel and civilians were present on that occasion.
Receiving the enthusiasm of the participants on health and fitness, GOC said, “The struggle of our freedom movement has urged young people to contribute as well as possible in taking the nation into greater heights in the 21st century when we started the 75th year of independence”.
Run is held in a continuation of a series of activities carried out to celebrate 75 years of independence.
The winners were detained by military officials, said members of the organizing committee.
