New Delhi: stated that in the last 7 years the nation developed based on the new approach and policy framed according to the needs of the region, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday said that the whole northeast had become a witness to change.
His comments came after he moved the first installment of Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana – Gramin (PMAY-G) to more than 1.47 Lakh receivers from Tripura.
More than RS 700 Crore credited directly to the bank account from the beneficiaries on that occasion.
Speaking on that occasion, PM Modi said, “Today, Tripura and all the northeast witness to change.

Agartala and Delhi formed a policy together for the development of Tripura,” said PM Modi.
“The previous policy was formed behind a closed door in Delhi and then a failed effort was made to fit the Northeast in this matter.
