New Delhi: stated that in the last 7 years the nation developed based on the new approach and policy framed according to the needs of the region, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday said that the whole northeast had become a witness to change.
His comments came after he moved the first installment of Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana – Gramin (PMAY-G) to more than 1.47 Lakh receivers from Tripura.
More than RS 700 Crore credited directly to the bank account from the beneficiaries on that occasion.
Speaking on that occasion, PM Modi said, “Today, Tripura and all the northeast witness to change.

I am Thanking the chairman of the Minister of Tripura Biplab Deb and his government to change the culture of the government, how old works, and the old attitude in a short span of time.

” PM Modi said that the government of ‘Dual Machine’ BJP in the center and in Tripura formed a joint policy for the development of the country.
“There is no place in Tripura for a mindset that makes it poor and the people without all facilities.
The double engine government works for the development of the country, with all their energy and honesty.
Agartala and Delhi formed a policy together for the development of Tripura,” said PM Modi.
“The previous policy was formed behind a closed door in Delhi and then a failed effort was made to fit the Northeast in this matter.
This cutting of the land leads to separation.
So, in the past 7 years, the nation has improved a new mindset, a new approach .
Now the policy is formed according to regional needs, and not only according to Delhi, “he added.
