Kolkata: Krishna Roy, wife of Trinamool Congress leader beat Roy, died at a private hospital in Chennai on Tuesday.
Krishna Roy died of a heart attack at 4:35 a.m.
on Tuesday.
His body will be brought back to Kolkata on Wednesday.
The Main Minister of Mamata Banerjee in a condolences, “I express my deep sadness in Krishna Roy’s death.
He was involved in social work.
I expressed my sincere sadness to beat Roy, his son Subhrangshu Roy and all family members”.
Krishna Roy suffered for a long time and was originally treated at a private hospital in Kolkata.
Recently, he was flown to Chennai in the air ambulance for kidney transplants.
One member of the founder of the Trinamool Congress, beat Roy back to his old party after being at BJP for four years.
Mapping Roy has won from the Constituency of the Krishnanagar Uttar Council on BJP tickets in West Bengal poll this year.
