The wind threatens destructive California fan

Placerville, California: The crew was digging and burning the stripes of the fire in the middle of the round of Saturday’s wind which contributed to anger to the northern California Wildfire.
“ We have a shootout in front of us and the wind today will make it very challenging, “ said Keith Wade, a spokesman for the Ministry of Forestry and California fire protection, or Cal Fire.
The fire of the Caldor at Sierra Nevada North has destroyed dozens of houses, and the authorities on Friday closed down 46 miles (74 kilometers) from Interstate 50, the main route between the state capital of Sacramento and Lake Tahoe in the state of Nevada lines.
The highway is closed after the debris from the flame falls to the road and because of the red flag warning for wind 20 to 30 mph (32 to 48-kph) which on Saturday night `combined with very dry fuel will produce critical fire weather conditions Around Caldor Fire, ” national weather service said.
The wind can blow up to 40 mph (65 kph) Saturday.
The road is the main checkpoint when the crew struggled against the fire, which erupted earlier this week and grew up to 10 times in a few days, driven by the wind.
“ We will invest everything we can to hold the South API ‘on the road, said Eric Schwab, head of operations operations with Cal Fire.
Firefighters made progress on the west side of fire and burned vegetation to make them hunger of fuel and prevent fire from going into the evacuated pollock pines community.
On the northeast side, the crew protected the cabin in the dense forest area, the fire official said.
Caldor’s fire has now devoured around 130 square miles (310 square kilometers) on Saturday and more than 1,500 firefighters fighting in the middle of heavywood and rough terrain.
Blaze is one of the nearest a dozen California’s big forest fires that have scorched North California, burning at least 700 homes alone in and around the Sierra Nevada community in Greenville and Flat Grizzly.
Fire, especially in the northern part of the country, has burned nearly 1.5 million hectares, or approximately 2,300 square miles (6,000 square kilometers) and has sent smoke as far as the east coast.
They burned on grass, brushes and forests that were very dry from two years of drought may be exacerbated by climate change.
Thousands of houses remain under threat in communities tucked in beautiful forests and tens of thousands of people remain in an evacuation order.
Nine national forests in the region have been closed due to the threat of fire.
To the northwest of the Caldor API, Masif Dixie’s fire continued to grow and the new evacuation was ordered, including Taylorsville small hamlets.
In five weeks, the fire around 175 miles (282 kilometers) northeast of San Francisco has become the second largest in the history of the country and blackened the area twice the Los Angeles.
Weather forecasts call for a storm system that will bring the wind but a little rain through North California to the beginning of next week.
With that, the risk of fire will increase.
Dozens have erupted in the last few days but quickly labeled.
The exception is a fire cache, small grass but fast moving that destroys at least 56 houses and virtually destroys the car’s house park.
Some of them were forced to escape from the fire had to leave their pets.
Emily Crum, an animal control officer with North Bay animal service, got a surprise when she was looking for a pet left in the Clearlake area.
He saw a black dog in a scorched place.
“ I saw him lying there.
I thought he was dead, “said Crum.” Then he began to doubt him.
“Even though it was chained to the boat trailer, Mutt named Sammy was not hurt, said Crum.
Cats, goats and chickens were also saved.
California is one of a dozen western countries Where 99 large and active fires were burned on Friday, according to the National Interagency Fire Center.
Fires have increased throughout the West, creating a season that is almost throughout the year that has been taxed by fire department.
The fire pattern is used to migrate in the season of the west Power to the Rockies, to the Pacific Northwest and then California, allow the fire crew to move from one place to place next, said Anthony Scardina, Regional Deputy Forester for the Forest Service.
“ But the problem is all the season began to overlap, ” said Scardina .
