Pune: A 62-year-old woman died after falling from the fifth floor balcony in her flat in a housing in the Pimple merchant at around 9:30 a.m.
on Sunday.
Sub-inspector M n Varis from Police Sangvi told toi that the woman dried clothes when she lost balance and fell.
“Her husband, son and son-in-law is inside.
His son heard a big sound and rushed to the balcony to see his mother lying on the ground.
He immediately took him to the nearest hospital, where he was said to be killed by a doctor,” Varude said.
The police have recorded statements of family members and neighbors.
“It was an accident.
Prime Facie Probe revealed that the woman might lose her balance while drying clothes and falling.
We have registered an accidental case of death,” Varude said.
The woman fell into her death from the balcony on the 5th floor
