Gurgaon: The police have saved a 19-year-old woman who jumped into a canal in an effort to commit suicide at Faridabad’s Khedi.
A police dived into the canal to save him.
According to the Faridabad police, they received information about the incident at 3 pm on Tuesday.
Emergency response vehicle team (IGL) nearby, which includes supervisors of Ramchandra, Ravinder and Sandeep, immediately reach the Khedi Bridge.
When they saw the woman sank, police addicts jumped into the canal, while others made arrangements to attract both.
“Canal as high as 30 feet and they can sink.
The police have patrolled the nearest area when they received information and they immediately rushed to the bridge and saved him,” said a police spokesman.
The woman was given first aid and her parents were also told.
Then, he was taken to the Khedipul police station, where his statement was recorded.
During the interrogation, it was found that the woman married about four months ago and lived with her husband’s family in Faridabad.
The police said the woman had a fight with her in-laws, followed what she decided to take extreme steps.
Police Commissioner Faridabad praised the courage of the Relactable Ravinder of the IGL team, which risked his life to save the woman.
Meanwhile, the woman was sent to her parents’ house.
They told the police that he was angry at the problem of “trivial” and behaved “aggressive”.
