Another woman sitting near the victim also received a minor injury.
The victim has been referred to Jhansi Medical College.
No arrests have been made so far.
The incident occurred when the victim was going to sit in his toy store on the market when two men, wear helmets and riding a motorcycle, approaching him.
Within minutes of one of them pulled a bottle and threw acid on it.
