Nagpur: A 22-year-old woman, an accountant, harassed verbally and attacked with a stick by her ex-friend – Foe Paras Bajaj on Wednesday when she faces whatsapp status connects it.
The woman was beaten when she went to her shop, along with her sister, because of the confrontation at Rajendra Nagar Chowk at Hasanbagh.Police said the woman and Bajaj was friends for about four years.
They fought about two weeks ago after their communication stopped.
The victim was annoyed after the defendant had maintained a certain status on WhatsApp which he felt aimed at him.
The woman and sister went to the Bajaj shop to face her.
The police said Bajaj harassed the sisters and also attacked them with a stick that left his former friend injured.
Nandanvan police have registered the case as further attacks and investigations are taking place.
