Mandya: A husband allegedly killed his wife and buried him in the land of their neighbors in the village of Amrutrswharanahalli Malavalli Taluk on Friday.
The defendant Shivaraju killed his wife Rani, and buried it in the neighboring land behind their house.
Satish, neighbors, grew suspicious when he saw a trace of blood in his backyard.
He warned the police who explored the area and found Rani’s body.
The body has been sent for postmortem.
Shivaraju is in runaway.
The villagers said that when they last saw him, his clothes were hunted by blood.
The case has been registered at the Malavalli rural police station.
