Chatra: A woman who was brought to the public health center in the Pratappur Block after a dead snake bite without supervision on Monday night.
The woman was identified as Kaushalya Devi (50), a resident of Baudhadih Village.
Kaushalya’s son, Om Prakash Paswan, said his mother with him in the field sowing rice when the poisonous snake bit him in his right hand.
When he lost his sadness, relatives and villagers working in the nearby fields took him to the public health center at around 5:30 a.m.
on Monday.
Paswan said no doctor was present at the health center when they took his mother.
When Kaushalya remained unpiled, Paswan’s cry for help attracted some young people who played in the adjacent field.
They rushed in and started looking for a doctor.
After half an hour, one Dr.
Arvind Kumar came and stated that the woman died.
Angry villagers accused him of negligence rejected by a doctor.
Kumar said he was delayed when he was in a washroom.
Pratappur police came and brought the situation under control.
