Washington DC: The World Bank stopped all financial assistance for projects to Afghanistan after the Taliban assuming power in the country, the World Bank spokesman said Wednesday.
“We have quit expenditures in our operations in Afghanistan and we are very monitoring and assessing the situation in line with our internal policies and procedures.
