The worst Ahmedabad air quality between 4 Safar cities

Ahmedabad: The city is almost choking with gloomy air quality on Friday, knocking down Delhi from the position of Semen Numero Uno on a list of polluted cities.
Ahmedabad noted the worst air quality index (AQI) among the four Safar (air quality and weather forecasting systems and research) monitoring cities in the country.
Aqi Ahmedabad was 311 μg / m3 in the morning and increased to 329 μg / m3 around 7pm.
This level of pollution is considered to be detrimental to the population, especially the sensitive group.
Safar data analysis revealed that AQI in three fields in and around Ahmedabad was one of the highest in this country – Lekawada, Raikhad and Bopal.
This was followed by Malad and Mazagaon in Mumbai.
Delhi, known as the most polluted capital in the world, was better than Ahmedabad on Friday because it recorded 176 μg / m3 in the morning and 132 μg / m3 at night.
Estimated data that there is no concession of ‘very poor’ air quality (AQI 300-400 μg / m3) in Ahmedabad for the next three days.
However, Aqi in Delhi and Mumbai tends to improve in the coming days.
Meanwhile, Safar has warned people of heavy activities.
“Individuals with heart or lung disease, adults and older children must avoid longer or severe activities,” he said.
The very bad level of PM 2.5 can add health problems for those who have respiratory problems.
The Mahesh Pandya environment says that PM 2.5 and PM 10 are associated with dust particles and pollution caused by On-Road vehicles.
“The ongoing Metro Rail work and digging work have added pollution problems.
This city does not have a reliable public transportation.
Brts, which only have 300 buses, has contributed to traffic congestion and vehicle pollution.
Moreover, the city’s green cover has been reduced , “he said.
The Chairperson of the Fixed Committee of Hitesh Barot said the pollution problem was considered serious by city corporations that worked on the project to increase the city’s green cover.
A AMC official said that they had made a policy decision to enter the wall for the wall carpet to curb pollution of particle material.
A traffic official said that areas such as Raikhad and Bopal were very crowded areas.
In addition, with construction activities that occur in full swing in Bopal, it will definitely be the most polluted area in the city because of dust particles.
