Rajkot: Bhavnagar Police arrested a class XII student and his aide who emerged as a doll for him in the XII XII Council exam in Bhavnagar on Wednesday.
According to the police, the Principal of Sister Nivedita Vidyalay in Bhavnagar, Suresh Yadav, received a telephone call that told him about a dummy student who appeared on behalf of class XII (science) in his school.
The council exam for class XII is across the country for those who have failed during the main board test.
“The caller has provided specific information that one Gautam Relaya appears on behalf of XII students who are residents of Bhankhal Village in Indonesia Sihor Taluka from Bhavnagar.
When the principal asked, information turned out to be true.
The Principal handed over students and Gautam to the police for further action, “Source said.
A major investigation revealed that class XII students had faked the signature and stamp of the Principal B B high school on the hall ticket and also jammed Gautam’s photo instead of it.
