BADAUN: Upset of the “non-payment” salary to his father, a young man burned himself in Badaun on Wednesday.
He had been hospitalized by 30 to 35 percent of burns, the police said.
Police sources said Vipin, who came with his brother Manoj and Pastor Rajendra Pal Sharma in the Vikas Bhawan complex located in the area of the Civil Lines police station in the afternoon, burned himself.
The police flowed young people to the district hospital from where he was referred to another hospital.
When taken to the hospital, Vipin told reporters that his father Rajendra Pal Sharma was a secretary at Sitholi Sadhan Society of Islam Nagar Block.
He said one and a half years ago, his father was suspended without giving reasons.
Vipin said his father had not received a salary for the period.
Because non-payment payments, the family is on the threshold of starvation, he said.
Vipin further accused the bribe of several lakh rupees taken from his father to clean up arrears and some officers from the Cooperative Department were involved but even after this, no payment was made for his father.
Vipin said he was forced to take steps.
Commenting on this problem, Badun District Judge Deepa Ranjan said his secretary or son had not provided complaints or application so far.
This problem is being investigated and whatever the fact that will come out, strict action will be taken against the culprit, DM is added.
