Bengaluru: A 21-year-old young man stabbed his 19-year-old friend to death at his house before hanging himself from the same home ceiling on Thursday night.
The girl, D Sinchana, 19, came from the Narcani layout in Jigani.
He is the only Doddaiiah child who has a hardware store in Harapanahalli, aneccant.
The defendant was Kishore Kumar, a driver with a warehouse in aneccant.
The Sinchana family told the police that he was the first year of students at a private college in Road Bannerghatta.
The tragedy was revealed when Doddaiah and his wife returned to the house late at night and found their daughter with a gap of the throat and Kishore hanging from the ceiling fan.
There are no suicide records found.
“Textbooks and several records were found near Sinchana’s body, showing him studied at that time,” said an investigation officer.
