Lucknow: New Participants for Congress and Alumnus Parties The Popular University of Jawaharlal Nehru Kanhaiya Kumar was taken for a surprise on the way to the Congress headquarters here on Tuesday when a noise threw some liquid to him.
While Congress members accused the young man pouring acid on Kanhaiya’s face, the police said that the liquid was ink.
A star campaign for Congress in the assembly selection of 2022, Kumar was in the state capital to campaign for various candidates, including the Dilpet Singh DP, fighting from the Lucknow and Sadaf Jafar Cantonment chairs that had been crowned from Lucknow Central.
According to eyewitnesses, the young man came from nowhere and joined the supporting crowd to carry out his plan.
“What he spilled seemed to be a kind of sour when those who were close to Kanhaiya Kumar complained of burning sensations and itching in the eyes.
Kumar must have a narrow runaway,” said a member of Congress who with someone else grabbed it and handed it to the police.
The Personnel of the Media Congress team said that two people were injured in the process.
“The liquid spilled into the eyes of one of the two advanced people to save Kanhaiya.
Others suffer an injury in hand in the process,” he said.
When asked to comment, the assistant Commissioner of Police, Hazratganj, Akhilesh Singh, said that the young man was identified as Devansh Bajpai, a resident of Chowk.
“A Challan has been issued for a bajpai for violating peace because there are no formal complaints given by anyone who is present at that place,” said Singh.
During interrogation, Devansh said that he did not like Kanhaiya Kumar’s words who always talked about the country’s division, ACP said.
The police also said that Devansh was not a member of any political clothing and pursuing LLB from college affiliated Lu in Malihabad.
However, Congress workers alleged that Devansh was a member of the BJP students – Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad.
Not affected by the incident, Kanhaiya continued with the scheduled program.
Responding to media requests, after that he said: “BJP behaves as done by the East Indian company in pre-independent India.
Congress will drive them by the way the Grand Old Party sends England back.” He did not make a statement about the incident happened to him.
