Kanpur: Police in Banda Regency have arrested a young man, after a scholar student allegedly trying to commit suicide accusing him of rape and extortion.
Circle Officer (CO) realized, Siyaram said the police had submitted a complaint after the releases and arrested the defendant.
He will now be produced in court.
Students have accused the brother of his friend repeatedly raping and extorting him for months.
A police officer said that the young man was friends with students through his sister and raped him after inviting him to his home on March 25.
“At the time of the incident, the young man’s family member was not at home,” said further officers.
, He also took his video and raped him repeatedly for months while threatening to post video recording on the internet.
The officer said the student tried to hang himself at his house on Monday.
But he was saved by his family members, who later claimed to be to the hospital.
After primary treatment, he told trials to family members.
Officers said the victim on Tuesday was sent to the court for noting a statement under 164 CRPC.
He further said that the police had arrested the defendant.
“Investigations further continued, we were in the process of sending them to prison after registering firs under the relevant IPC section,” added together.
