Prayagraj: A young man was arrested by Pratapgarh police on Wednesday on charges of killing his uncle in the Aspur Devsara area.
The man who was arrested was identified as, Suraj Kumar, was a resident of Chilawa Village.
Pratapgarh police said sharp edge weapons also recovered used in murder.
The police said the man was identified as Jitendra Kumar aka Sunil with a mud throat was found on December 24 near the canal in Chilawa Village under the limits of the Devsara Aspur police station.
Following the incident, the case below the 302 IPC section was registered.
During the investigation, the police found the involvement of Suraj Kumar and arrested him while planning to escape from the city.
The accusation claimed to have killed his uncle and claimed that he had killed his uncle when he used to harass his aunt and other family members with a small problem.
The accusation told the police that his uncle and grandfather used to stop him to talk to aunt and he then hatched the conspiracy to kill his uncle.
