Nagpur: After the market and school, now theaters and cinema rooms tend to open back in Maharashtra from September 1.
In a meeting with representatives from performing artists and traditional artists, cultural ministers Amit Deshmukh assured that the state government thought to reopen theater activities and cinema September 1 with the right Covid protocol.
However, the final decision will be taken by the minister’s chairman.
Meeting with representatives from performances and traditional artists in Maharashtra was held in Manrayala where many of Vidarbha also participated.
Minister of Disaster Management Vijay Wadettiwar has facilitated this meeting for Vidarbha-based artists.
“Minister of Culture Affairs has received several the most important demands of theater and artists from those who formed the welfare council for them.
The minister also said that the right artist documentation would be carried out on priority,” said theater activists, Vatsal.
According to him, extensive artist agitation was held on August 9, building some pressure on the authorities and they called the meeting.
Of the total 13 demands, 12 were immediately accepted in principle.

The artist will soon get a welfare board on labor lines in unorganized sectors.
Recently, the state also announced Covid aid one RS 5,000 to the artist.
But, the country still does not have a list of probable beneficiaries.
The documentation of artists will begin with the earliest online registration process, Dishmukh assures.
“We also told about the incident in Vidarbha where the school refused to recognize the artist ward when their parents could not pay last year’s fees,” said Umesh Thakur, who is also part of the delegation.
Folk artists in Vidarbha insist that their traditional household visits are like ‘Vasudev’, ‘Potraj’ etc.
