Rajkot: A thief who targets five houses in the past three months captured by Jamnagar police on Saturday.
Hussain Ali Chokiya was arrested at Chandi Bazaar on Saturday when he was on his way to sell stolen silver to the merchant there.
Police found jewelry worth Rs 53,250 and Rs 32,000 in cash from Chokiya.
Chokiya then claimed to have a targeted house near Gurudwara, in the Valkeshwari area, Bhaktinagar and Kailashdham in the last three months.
After theft, Chokiya had sold jewelry to a trader named Sanat Pala and on Saturday, he was arrested when he met him.
The police will also question nutmeg to buy stolen valuables.
