There are no changes here: London to maintain masks on public transportation

LONDON: Mask-meading will be needed on the London transportation network even after the legal obligation to wear it in the UK was appointed on July 19, the city mayor said on Wednesday.
Sadiq Khan has asked the body that oversees transportation in the capital to enforce the use of masks wearing subways, buses and trams as “train conditions”, basically contracted between passengers and transportation for London.
Khan said he was “not prepared” to place the “risky” transportation user by removing the rules on the face cover after the legal restrictions were appointed the following Monday despite a large awakening of the virus throughout England as a whole.
Under the new approach described by Khan, enforcement officers will be able to deny access or remove passengers who do not wear masks when using subways, buses and trams.
London metropolitan police and British transportation police will not be able to be involved, because wearing masks will no longer be required by law.
“What will be far better is the national rule to be applied throughout the country, not only in London but throughout the country,” he told the BBC.
“It will provide clarity in connection with what the rules are.” Earlier this week, the British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, confirmed that most of the British coronavirus restrictions, including masks must wear in many indoor public arrangements, will end as part of the final stage of the road from Coronavirus Lockdown.
However, Johnson urged people to remain cautious and do “personal responsibility,” attitudes that have caused mixed messaging charges.
Transportation Secretary, Grant Shapps, said Khan’s decision was “very in line” with what the British government, which sets public health policies for the UK, wanted to happen.
Other nations in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, have not chosen to remove legal requirements on masks – wearing closed spaces.
“While we go from this as a legal requirement for guidelines, we expect individual operators to ensure they put whatever is suitable for their network,” Shapps told Sky News.
Lifting Legal restrictions the following Monday came when Coronavirus infection increased sharply.
On Tuesday, the UK recorded 36,660 infections, the highest daily calculation in almost six months.
Cases are expected to spin higher, with the warning the government that 100,000 daily infections might possibly this summer, the rate that has never been seen before.
The British government believes that the launch of vaccines has largely separated the relationship between infection and those who need hospitalization because most people who get Covid-19 are in a young age group that is less vulnerable, many of which have not been vaccinated.
On Tuesday, nearly 69% of the British population had received a dose of a temporary vaccine 52% had two.
Concerns even though it increases despite the launch, a high case burden will once again suppress national health services.
The number of people who need the attention of the hospital and then dying has increased higher in the last few days, although not at the same level as infection.
The final stage of English key easing means that all restrictions on social meetings will be deleted and the social distance measures will be deleted.
Nightclubs can be reopened for the first time since March last year, and there will be no restrictions on people who attend concerts, theaters, marriages or sports events.
