Lucknow: Energy Minister Uttar Pradesh Sharmant Sharmant on Wednesday said that Power Corporation Limited (UPPCL) did not have enough funds to pay coal which was being pushed into thermal power plants for power plants.
The minister further said that the electrical giant was also not in the financial position to clean up arrears for the power that had been purchased from NTPC.
Sharma made the statement while attracting corporate employees to end their agitation after the celebration season.
The Junior Uppcl engineers have increased in arms that demand the elimination of anomalies in their salary structure.

Sharma said that employees must speak to the authorities to get their revenge addressed, instead of taking agitation courses.
