Port Blair: The Andaman Union and Nicobar Islands did not record a new Covid-19 case in the last 24 hours, said a health department official on Monday.
Tally Covid-19 in the islands remained at 7,618, he said.
The Union region now only has 13 Active Covid-19 cases and all patients are in the South Andaman District.
Two other districts – North and Middle Andaman and Nicobar – free from Coronavirus, he said.
Three more people recovered from Covid-19 took the total recovery amount to 7,476, he said.
The death toll of Covid-19 remained at 129 because there was no new fatality reported in the last 24 hours, the official said.
The administration has so far been tested 5.45,708 samples for Covid-19 and the cumulative test level is 1.40 percent.
As many as 4.36,070 beneficiaries have been inoculated so far, where 2,88,441 has received a single dose of Covid-19 vaccine and 1,47,629 has received a vaccine dose, he said.
