There are no paths for pedestrians to walk along the highway, dlf-1 fume residents

Gurgaon: Although Crores is spent by various government institutions every year to add city road infrastructure, running on the sidewalk continues to be a challenge for teacher teachers.
DLF-1 population, for example, claimed they could hardly find a continuous and barrier-free sidewalk stretch between Gate 4 and 6 of Block A, B and C along the Gurgaon-Faridabad highway.
The reason: the embankment fence with metal nets and knife cables, which forced the population of the city to walk on the challenging road of high-speed vehicles on the highway.
Rahul Chandola, President of Rwa from Blok H, said, “The sidewalk fence for aesthetics does not have a purpose, instead of placing a pedestrian life with a big risk.
We have urged authorities to give us the right victory of this stretch, given the number of people who walked To the Qutab Plaza or Bristol Chowk market and Sikanderpur Metro Station every day.
“Residents have approached local council members and government officials and urged them to eliminate the earliest encroachment.
They also demanded the path on both sides of the highway between Kushboo Chowk and Bristol Chowk.
“When there is a green belt along the same way, why eat space intended for pedestrians? How could the authorities allow such encroachment to landscape and it also along the high-speed corridor such as the Gurgaon-Faridabad highway?” Ritika Ratna said, Secretary with Rwa from the block.
When contacted, Sandeep Singh, the PWD executive engineer, said that some regional residents had approached the department to create a green belt on the outskirts of the road.
“We allow them.
But if residents raise objections, we have no problems getting the same from MUMS.
I will look into the complaints of DLF-1 population,” he said.
