Hyderabad: With mild symptoms such as headaches and body pain other than cold, Omicron treatment has so far not required drugs or oxygen support, according to health officials.
There are 62 Omicron cases so far in the state, including seven reported on Tuesday.
Until now none of the previously reported cases had gone to the critical stage, with the majority in improvements without drugs, officials said.
“Even though it is too early to make any cuts, but what we can see clearly is that there is no lung involvement in the positive case of Omicron.
The majority of patients have not taken vaccines that show that vaccines may have a preventive role for this variant,” said A doctor who cared for these cases.
The patient has recovered well with only supplements and paracetamol occasionally.
“Most patients fall in the middle category.
They are asymptomatic and have recovered well.
10 patients were dismissed after a 14-day hospital stayed like a normal person and had no impact on health,” Doctor added.
Also, most cases have not taken vaccines (46 of 62 cases), 14 have taken a single dose and two have both doses.
The state health authority stated that the majority status that was not vaccinated from the Positive Omicron case clearly showed that many Covid vaccines currently have a preventive role.
“Taking two vaccine doses it is important.
The majority of cases, patients are not vaccinated or some vaccinated.
Therefore, it is important that everyone who meets the requirements to complete their two doses,” said Dr.
