T’puram: KSEB putting aside reports that it plans a surprise tariff for consumers.
We will only look for wise rates for the next control period starting from April 2022, the council said.

In accordance with the help package, the free power given to domestic consumers with connected loads up to 500W will be eligible for free power up to 30 units / month.
Similarly, the electricity given to domestic consumers under the BPL category, with a load connected up to 100W at the level of Rs 1.50 / kwh for monthly consumption of up to 40 units must be eligible for 50 units / month, without changes in the connected load.
KSERC has ratified KSEB demand to increase subsidy limits in August.
