Bathinda: After a leader of the Political Group of Agriculture Group Sanyukt Samaj Morcha (SSM) claimed that agricultural organizations that came out of SSM would support them, the largest farmer organization of Punjab, BKU (ETTA Ugrahan), on Monday said it would continue to move away from SSM .
BKU (ETTA UgraDan) on Monday said the main job of agricultural groups was to fight for agricultural problems and not to oppose the election, which must be submitted to political parties.
“That’s because (the) struggle (from the pressure groups of Apolitis) that agricultural laws can be revoked; this is because of the fight (they) that Indian food companies cannot be dissolved even though there is a central government’s effort.
Now some hope has risen to get prices Minimum support.
Legislators can never reach all this, “said an agricultural union leader.
BKU (ETTA Ugrahan) President Joginder Singh Ugrahan said the problem of farmers and farm laborers could not be resolved by entering politics.
“This can only be resolved with a continuous battle and by making any party government acknowledging their demands with a collective, sustainable battle,” he said.
He added that farmers have nothing to do with politics and even people don’t want them to take this step.
He said people saw political plunge by farmers as “opportunist”.
