Hyderabad: While the country has requested school management not forcing students to attend offline classes and allow them to learn from home, the provisions seem to be lost for government school students because the school education department has not released a schedule for digital classes.
Digital lessons are showing through Doordarshan Yadagiri and TSAT stopped on September 1 – physical class days begin.
Even though the recorded content is available in the TSAT application, not many have access to smartphones and internet facilities so it is difficult for them to learn from home.
“I used to take lessons through DD channels, but for one week now I can’t attend a digital class,” said Pavan M, a 10th grade student studied at a government school.
He said that he could access the tsat only at night while his parents were at home, but added that he was not sure which lesson would begin.
Their students and parents say that it would be better if the state continued digital lessons so that children could continue their education.
“If the country will conduct an exam, they also have to think of students who cannot attend physical classes.
They cannot expect all students to go to school,” said Govardhan K, whose daughter was in grade 9.
While the physical class continued on September 1, Like on September 1, Like On Wednesday, the presence in the offline class reached 35.83%.
In government schools, the percentage of attendance is said to be a little better than in private schools.
The school education department official said that their intention was to get students back to school and want children to take advantage of this opportunity.
“Even before the pandemic, the content is available in the TSAT.
There will be no separate schedules for digital classes now because the physical class continues,” the official said.
