Coimbatore: Hi Prime Minister to inaugurate 11 medical colleges in all states, Informancy Minister United States and L Release said Narendra Modi was always worried about the development of Tamil and Tamil Nadu.
Speaking to reporters at Coimbatore Onroute to Tirupur to participate in the inauguration of medical colleges there on Wednesday, he said Thirukural, Citra Tamil Classic written by Saint Poet Thiruvalluvar, will be translated into 100 foreign languages through the Central Tamil Central Institute.
A magnificent RS 20 Crore building for the Institute was also inaugurated by Modi during the day.
“This is a historic day.
Tamil Nadu has the privilege that no other country is obtained.
Eleven medical colleges are dedicated to the public on one day,” he said, adding that around Hospital 4.080 Crore was spent on this medical college to expand medical education in the state.
Noting that Modi has never failed to quote Thirukukural wherever he goes throughout the world, the Institute will take the contents of Thirukukural far and extensive by translating the temple in more than 100 foreign languages.
For a request about complaints that several Indian radio stations (air) were closed, Murugan said that no station was closed.
“Only the technology upgrade was being carried out,” he said.
At the delay of establishing AIIMS hospitals in Madurai, he said the work was ongoing and soon the hospital would appear.
When asked about the Chairman of the Constitutional Court Stalin who wished a happy new year of Tamil on the first day of the month Tamil ‘Thailand’, Murugan said the world throughout Tamil observed the first day of Chithirai as Tamil New Year and it would not change.
