There is no cash or time to shop? Do not worry. Walk to this sari library in Vadodara

Vadodara: Rama Malik, a city-based textile designer, had to attend a wedding this month, but he did not have time to shop for the perfect sari.
Rama just walked to the ‘Sari Library’ on Jalan Padra Tua, picked up some of the sari she liked the most and, wrapped them up, she carved everyone at a wedding.
“Rituals of marriage in our country have been three to four days and women are expected to wear new clothes for each function.
It is very difficult to spend the time out of the busy schedule for shopping, especially when we work.
The Sari Library gives us an easy and direct solution.
Also , the process of getting Saris is quite simple, “Rama told Toi.
The Sari Library, his first initiative began by eight city women – a mixture of entrepreneurs and housewives – about two months ago.
Saris that the library has contributed and they are rented for free.
“Women like to wear different Saris on different occasions.
But not all women, especially those from the middle class or the lower middle class, are able to buy expensive sari which is almost no imposed several times,” said the Hema Chauheli from Ashta Saheli Group who had started library.
“Also, there are women who work from rich families who cannot shop because of their busy schedules.
So, we decided to start the library where women can get the best from Saris and dresses free.
They can wear sari or dress and return it within a week , “Chauhan added.
All they have to do is pay the deposit fee and bring home Saris.
Once they restore the Saris, the deposit is returned and only the cost of dry cleaning is taken from women.
“Since it began, more than 200 women from all walks of life have brought home some of the selected clothes from the Sari Library.
Our library has almost 300 sari and dresses, all of which have been contributed by women,” Chauhan added.
He remembered how a widow, worked as a waiter in the city, had walked in their library and donated the saris a few weeks ago.
“Our library has some of the best and expensive banarasi and chiffon,” he said.
