Prayagraj: Taking serious records of lawyers who appear in multi-color shirts and casual clothes during the virtual audience, the High Court of Allahabad has prescribed the dress code for lawyers and also asked the office carrier from the High Court Bar Association to advise members not to adopt any casual approach when It comes before this court through virtual mode that can cause obstacles in the administration of justice.
Passing the direction above, justice Saurabh Shyam Shammshery was observed, “The appearance of advocates in casual clothing is very inappropriate and unacceptable under any circumstances.
Advocates must understand that their appearance to hear cases through virtual mode from their homes or offices such as Lokor Expanded and very serious about attending the trial in court.
“While prescribing the dress code for a lawyer, hearing the case on Wednesday, the court was directed,” they were asked to wear a ‘plain white / white shirt salwar-kameez / sari white’ with neck ribbon Plain white ‘while appearing in court in Virtual Mode.
The place from which they appear must have a decent background and assign with a peaceful environment and remain attentive to the court.

The court sounded a warning and said that it would not ignore the ‘casual appearance’ by lawyers during the virtual court hearings.
