‘There is no Covid test before planned operation’

This has happened as a big relief for patients who are under the knife, because the operation will not be postponed because of Covid infection now.
Previous surgery from positive patients was postponed.
“Operations have begun in regular mode in most hospitals in the city including government hospitals.
Many patients who need surgery must wait beforehand after being positive,” said a health official.

In the case of emergencies too, the test was not done, “the officer added.

The number of patients from planned operations must be tested from private laboratories as directed by doctors.
