Kalyan: Thane police for the second time this year has banned the ‘program diwali chisel’ which took place every year in the morning at the Dewali on Jalan Fadke in Dombid-19 Pandemi.
Ramnagar police have placed banners at Fadke Road, who said section 144 had been put in place where people could not celebrate the program in large quantities of chisel and gathered.
The decision was taken due to Covid-19 pandemic.
Banner also states that legal action will be taken against violators.
Meanwhile, Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) MLA Raju Patil, who demanded that the police this year to allow the program Diwali Chisel decided to celebrate in the Savitribai Phule Hall in Dombivli.

The Diwali Fadke Road program is famous throughout Maharashtra where thousands of young people gather to celebrate Diwali together.
Sachin Demand, Deputy Commissioner of the Police, Zone 3 of Police Thane said, “Police Thane has issued orders for all Missisaria, including the Fadke road area which only prohibits programs in the chisel program to avoid the pandemic of Covid-19,”.
